Yoga and Pilates
We are committed to helping people enjoy vibrant health through our comprehensive approach to physical therapy and beyond. Our small group wellness classes support you in achieving your goals whether you are in physical therapy, have finished your course of treatment, or even if you have never been a patient with us.
All classes are taught by clinical staff.
Class size is limited to 4 to 6 participants.
Individualized attention addresses your needs and allows you to progress at your own pace.
Current and former patients may try a class for free.

Therapeutic Yoga for the Pelvic Floor
A 10-week course beginning January 16, 2018 and running through March 20.
Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:30 PM
This therapeutic yoga course for the pelvic floor focuses on breathing and relaxation practices, visualization, asana, and exploration of the chakras and five elements. Whether as an adjunct to your physical therapy program or stand-alone practice, Pelvic Floor Therapeutic Yoga is a peaceful and effective way to improve pelvic floor tone and strength.
$200 for 10 sessions.

Seated and standing postures emphasize stability, balance and safety while taking care of tender joints. We end with stretches and guided relaxation that can be done on the floor or in the chair. Instructor: Susan
Pilates for Every Body
Wednesdays 12:00 - 1:00 PM
This joyful class helps you connect to the inner core that lurks within all of us. Using breath as the bridge between body and mind, we can wake up those sleeping muscles and find greater support for our backs and more energy throughout the day. We use foam rollers to stretch and strengthen as well as other therapeutic modalities to create a full body workout. Instructor: Carla
Core Awareness for a Healthy Body
Alleviating pain through 3 dimensional core awareness
Thursdays from January 4 to February 22, 5:30-6:45 PM
Our 3 D core is a mesh of muscles, fascia and bone that work synergistically to maintain our posture and support our backs in all movements. When we are not connected to this dynamic support system, we are prone to injury.
This class is the wake up to finding your own 3D core strength and vitality that can kick start the New Year to health and well-being.
Come enjoy a well-rounded hour and fifteen minutes of movements and exercise that address posture, balance, and back stabilization. Using a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools this class accommodates all levels.
Carla brings 25 years of experience as a clinical therapist and former dancer with a sense of humor.
$160 for 8 weeks

About Susan Moore, PTA, RYT 200, and LMT
Susan practices trauma-informed yoga and bodywork. She came to yoga after more than two decades of martial arts and tai chi study. She has completed 100 hours of training with Kate Graham of Soulful Yoga Therapy, and is currently completing the 300-hour Advanced Teacher of Therapeutic Yoga Certificate under Joseph Le Page of Integrative Yoga Therapy.

Pilates instructor Carla Becker is a Physical Therapist at Restore Physical Therapy and Wellness Center. She brings to her work over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist, as well as training in manual therapy, treatment of osteoporosis, and Pilates Rehabilitation.
