Caring for patients avoiding or healing from surgery
At Restore, we help patients with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions to stay active and pain-free. Our treatments include manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. We restore proper alignment of the body to abolish pain and improve function. Our Physical Therapists teach patients proper muscle balance and the flexibility needed for healthy movement patterns.
We work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility, improve balance, and to develop programs for healthier and more active lifestyles. In order to enhance your care and to provide a more holistic approach, we are happy to consult with your other practitioners.

orthopedics for patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is a disorder that can cause joint hypermobility, loose or unstable joints that can frequently dislocate. It can also cause joint pain and hyperextensible joints that move beyond their normal range of motion. For some, Ehlers-Danlos can lead to the early onset of osteoarthritis.
There are several different types of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. For many people with this condition, especially those with the Hypermobility Type, physical therapy can help to strengthen and tone muscles to reinforce unstable and hypermobile joints.
Often, people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome struggle with treatments that emphasize flexibility over strengthening. Patients with EDS require the expertise of a physical therapist who understands the unique challenges of this condition and who can develop a plan of care to strengthen and bolster already hypermobile patients.
